Spa Visit before the Big Day

Your wedding day is the event of a lifetime and you deserve to be pampered in every way prior to the "Big Day." A facial torrance and a spa visit is one of the best ways to do so. It allows you to be holistically ready for the whole process.

One of the reasons a spa visit is a great idea is because it is one of the most effective "de-stressors" that you can treat yourself to. There is so much pressure, confusion, frustration and task juggling leading up to your wedding. You deserve a break to let the pressure off, relax and recollect your heart and mind. You also deserve to look your best and feel that your natural beauty is truly shining through.

Remember that the better you feel and the more confident you feel about your looks, the more memorable your special day will be. It doesn’t hurt to be in your best physical condition for the honeymoon, either!

Spa Treatments for Relaxation

There are many ways to get some good R&R (rest and relaxation) through a visit to the spa. Many spas offer a massage parlor which will take away the pain and stress from your body and prepare you to face the world with a smile again. This can also help prevent you from pulling muscles when you are scurrying around and trying to get into that formal dress!

Another option is to get a hydrotherapy treatment. These can restore energy, revitalize your body, and release stress. Many who get these say that they seem to lift away gravity from you, that the results literally feel like a weight has been removed from your shoulders, head, back and body. These will generally take between 20 and 40 minutes.

Beautifying Treatments

Once your stress has been relieved, you should also try some treatments meant to beautify your skin, face and hands. These include nails, foot-soaks, and facials.

Naturally, you will want your nails to look absolutely gorgeous all the time, but especially on that special day. You can choose to get what many women go for, which is a French manicure. Or you can select something with a bit more personality, if it is a good match for your dress, the style and formality level of the wedding. (When in doubt, as your wedding planner how your nails should look.)

Your face will be in pictures on family members’ mantles for years to come. No pressure or anything. Getting a facial prior to your wedding is an absolutely must. This can remove excess dead skin; it can help reduce the appearance of blemishes, fine lines and wrinkles, and dark circles; and it will rejuvenate your face.
